Help us kick off this yearlong celebration! Enjoy beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres in this industrial-chic event space. Let us entertain you along with special guests, including Sylvia McNair and guest host, Bloom Magazine‘s Malcolm Abrams. Enjoy a Chamber Singers "mini-concert" featuring some of our favorite songs, and a few new surprises.
The program will include a silent auction to help support us and continue to bring quality choral music to our community.
Sylvia McNair is a two-time Grammy Award-winning singer. She is one of today’s leading interpreters of the Great American Songbook. During a thriving opera career, she released over 70 albums, including two Songbook recordings with pianist Andre Previn. Her newest release is “Subject to Change.”
Malcolm Abrams is a magazine consultant, writer, and editor who fell in love with Bloomington and moved here in 2005. He is the founder, editor, and publisher of Bloom Magazine, the bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine, and of Distinctively Bloomington, an annual publication distributed primarily in hotel guest rooms.
